ngl a White House whodunit was the last thing I'd ever put on myself but my mom was adamant I should watch an episode and I did to appease then ended up actually hooked and well entertained and finishing the whole season.
very much a Knives Out type beat which they even acknowledge w an episode title, like KO it's kinda what you expect but so perfectly executed that it's hard not to enjoy.
makes use of the location perfectly, really paints a picture of the place and complicated politics of behind the scenes running a state house. humor is on the nose but effective, and the filmmaking is generally just pretty dope, from the use of puppethouse cross section segueing into scenes in the first EP on. I also didn't guess who it was but the resolution made perfect sense. Giancarlo had the perfect mysterious charisma for playing the Laura Palmer here. plays the genre game flawlessly
Watching A Star Is Born for the second time ever. wtf I do not remember Dave Chappelle being in this

Just watched " Oslo, August 31st "
From the director behind Worlds Worst Human.
What is it with Joachim Trier and breaking your heart?
This came first though.
Randomly put on Lionheart starring Jean Claude and one of the lines killed me.
" you're pretty. I dont know if i want to fight you, or f*** you."
He is god damn fine ...
