my guy i just don’t like the revenge plot going nowhere and i don’t like Abby although i respect that they tried with the pov.I don’t care about any of the character’s sexualities, etc.
also it’s a huge amount of misinformation saying Abby is trans. That’s not actually the case lol

i don't understand the ending. And if they were trying to make her human, why didn't that show up more often? Very little of the game shows Ellie as the same girl from the 1st one where she wasn't a cold blooded killer.

Those 2 are single handedly enough reason why its far better lmfao
MGS 3 and 5 are relatively predictable compared to this game, where in those games, it moreso feels like you are toying with your enemies cuz they are so easy to stealthily kill but in this you are moreso trying to actually survive because with dogs tracking your movement and AI constantly looking around and interacting with one another it makes it far harder to cleanly kill everyone in a quiet fashion

It’s the not the only facet of the art in video games. I am not obligated to play the game to understand the story through it’s visual storytelling
One of the main points of the story is how killing all these people impacts the characters emotionally. If you haven't played 20 hours of this violent ass game you won't feel the impact of that and will have a different opinion then someone who has actually played the game. Once again the gameplay is a part of the story

I like it, I'm defending bad writing, there's no middle ground in trying to rationalize and under what happens because the leaks f***ed this whole conversation and people be hating Abby from the jump and won't change their mind.
A game shouldn't make me feel bad because of the product, not even the gameplay but what is going on outside of it. This is atrocious

Yeah, except she only acted like she was remorseful after her actions, not before or in the middle of it, and the game doesn't do justice on the people you kill when it switches up becauae it's already done and dealt with.
I know why she wanted to kill, just that it seems too convenient to try and be sad about her actions. It's too late for that.
Frankly, I believe ND lost the factor of making the player resonate with either character and just being stuck as an observer in the neutral ground. Except we already know Ellie and this is going to sway us way to the left.

my concern is, if we wanted to do this route, ala hunter x hunter s the phantom troupe like, we should have spent time as them early, instead of waiting until we're damn near done, because when it's time for s*** to go down, we'll feel the weight of our actions.
On my second playthrough, it's different, but i don't know who will play it again or stomach it

who said i was deeply passionate about this game? lol i’m giving my opinion on what i watched, i watched the entire game out of pure curiosity and boredom. actually playing the game is a different experience that adds to it sure but i’m talking purely what the story entails.
And from watching it i guarantee you i would have been upset at wasting my money and time on this.
Not deeply passionate but how much time have you spent watching other people play and spending even more time talking about said game.
This is why $60 is a lot for you, you spending time getting no money
