    There are no objective metrics for quality. It’s all based on personal experience and taste.

    Obviously those who make music are going be able to articulate their thoughts better when it comes to discussing the more technical aspects like lyricism, composition, mixing, etc; — but that still doesn’t make them more qualified to judge and speak on music than the average person.
