Ironically a lot of similarities between them artistically. Kendrick is just a better lyricist and stable mentally.

i f***ing LOVE this album. Ive loved every Kendrick album, but this one just hits on a personal level.

Definitely a different style but I personally love what Dave’s been doing with things like this and the Family Ties video style of multiple things happening on the screen at once.

Seems like he building up to something.

since the establishing of pglang we’ve really gotten a great idea of what his style is as a director and family ties was like the perfect display of it. count me out feels almost like the more emotional counterpart to family ties (visually)

Must’ve been weeks of shooting with how many different locations they are at in the vid. Dave free really doing his thing for these videos so far this era love to see it.
