286K first week is an L for Kendrick, from one of his biggest fans
Heāll be fine. No one is even gonna care about the sales aside from Drake stans after today.
It does not. The arrangements on here on songs like Rich Spirit and Count Me Out are not for Rap Caviar. Its richer texturally then that even if its more of a "commercial" sounding song.
The extra arrangement stuff is like putting caviar on a McDouble
Yes it is for rap caviar itās just presented as artsy so people who think theyāre above rap caviar can still feel superior

Everyone on twitter calling this an L too.
Iām actually very surprised itās this low considering the 5 year hiatus. Something aināt adding up to me. Uzi and Cole did the same amount pretty much
It still doesnāt take away from the fact that it is an amazing album though
I also donāt think Kendrick cares about sales, if he really did he would have dropped one of the single worthy songs and a video in advance and probably also put Heart Part 5 on the album
This site is so ass sometimes man
That āwe got loveā dude was in here calling the album a classic and heās s***ting on it in that thread

Granted I still think this is a really great album
But about half the records are for playlists, I donāt feel like itās accurate to act like this album isnāt for the mainstream. Giving Weeknd stan vibes after Dawn flopped when they said it was because Weeknd was a niche artist
The musics incredible so shrug.
I hope yāall that focus on numbers really enjoy listening to them numbers
This album ⦠man
Came to me at the right time
Have not replayed an album this much in a long time
We Got Love betrayed us yall

couldn't it just be that the 5 year hiatus hurt more than it supposedly was going to help him?
286k first week. Kendrick's album confirmed trash even though I was listening to it that whole week
couldn't it just be that the 5 year hiatus hurt more than it supposedly was going to help him?
Thatās possible I guess
couldn't it just be that the 5 year hiatus hurt more than it supposedly was going to help him?
itās simply the lack of a rollout
him being gone five years adds hype believe it or not
This site helps me understand why someone like Andre 3000 doesnt wanna drop an album. Artistry is dying in a stratosphere dominated by sales and "accessibility" aka having generic music for the masses. Kendrick dropped an absolutely beautiful album and some of these people are really complaining. F*** all of ya'll. You deserve microwave music.

Does anyone think the tap dancing was a tribute to Virgil?
I know Virgil had a tap dancer in one of his last shows
Might be a reach
Might be a reach
