I donāt even think itās better than the actual beat
But i wish he used it for another track at least. That beat is too good
Nah but atleast there was something a whole melody even
Here he just stopped the beat after like 3-4 seconds
top four feeling like
father time
purple hearts
united in grief
mr morale
and then a tough split between
count me out
rich spirit
Could've had a album full of LUSTs and FEELs and still would've carried the same message
Not complaining tho
the baby keem influence on this is insane
either that or baby keems music was a test run for some of the music on here lol
fr the more i listen the more im surprised by keems influence on this project's sound
silent hill wouldnt sound too out of place on the melodic blue
Except Kanye hasnāt been thinking for a few years.
That's deep

Bro at this point he going doing side mission. I wonder what his next album going be about next ? I feel like he cover every topic that he rap already. Kendrick look like done everything he can for the culture.

found this on yt, beat is slightly altered for copyrights version i guess but is good.
still need someone to edit the og tho
This album gets better with each spin. Also, it's wild how different the album sounds in headphones vs. over speakers vs. in the whip. It's like the mixing was done in a way to emphasize different things in each medium.
That United In Grief vocal chant on last verse sounds like Konami startup sound

fr in rich spirit during the last chorus there's these sweeping glitzy effects u can hear with headphones but in the whip that s*** is basically non ezistent
This nigga is so annoying. Just say you like the album without doing all that extra s***
Fantano said Crown is one of Kendrickās weaker tracks ever?
Blasphemy. That is one of my favorite tracks. Maybe I'm just a sucker for melodramatic slow tracks that serve as transition...as Vince Staples 'Summertime' is on constant replay. youtube.com/watch?v=lYSJU0MW-Ro

maybe he gon drop a Dedication run style of mixtapes with crazy rhyme schemes and so on, who knows
The worst part is that we know he can do it. He just doesnāt
Staying non-controversial ensures he can stay at peak marketing value for the masses.

Summertime is one of the greatest songs Iāve ever heard no lie. Sounds exactly like a downpour on a hot summer day
Unless MMTBS doesn't age well (which I think it will) I think my album ranking might be:
GKMC
MMTBS
TPAB
DAMN
S80
Before I get flamed for TPAB, I think it's his most artistic (and obviously a classic) I just feel like it's so heavy I don't actually revisit it much. MMTBS I just connect with the vulnerability and message so much and have found it insanely replayable so far. GKMC I just think was so groundbreaking and is a crazy mix of message/story-telling and accessible listening experience that it'll always be my favorite
