Aye how long has Kendrick been sitting on this heat man?

He probably recorded most of the album from 2019-2021 and then tweaked it for about a year because almost all the leaked snippets from last year ended up making the album although some of them were heavily reworked.

U really think the production on here better than damn I would agree if there were more songs like united in grief, worldwide steppers and crown

Yeah definitely because of the songs u named. The highs are higher production wise to me, and the solid ones are on par.

I love DAMN. though bro, but DAMN. is carried more by Kendrick’s rapping to me than the production I definitely like the production here more personally. By quite a bit

yeah musically it’s great tbh. you’re right. I personally don’t like the writing in that part of the record.

That is understandable and I respect it

    It is a decisive song!

I mean the line of allowing the white girl say nigga was funny but overall I'm not sure what he's trying to say

Kendrick is saying that he used the f word thinking it was no big deal cause he wasn’t trans himself & couldn’t relate to their struggle & how much it hurt.

Then he brings up the white girl to bring up the exact same point, but in a different way. In this scenario, Kendrick is his Uncle & white people are Kendrick’s use of the F word.

White people couldn’t grasp Kendrick’s objection to the use of the n word by the white girl, because they (the white people) aren’t black & obviously can’t relate to the struggle & how much it hurts black ppl for whites to use it.

ā€œI said them F bombs, I ain’t know any better, mistakenly I didn’t think that you know any differentā€

ā€œTo truly understand love. Switch positions. F f f, we can say it together but only if you let a white girl say nā€
