Purple hearts... ghostface and the production are carrying it for me, shame he's the last feature

We cry together... this is my favourite argument song between a man and woman ever, but for obvious reasons I just find it hard to enjoy casually

Rich interlude... this one feels like an interlude, which is fine, but casually, feels like something to really sit down to tbh

Mr morale... I've tried a lot with this song, but something about the flow and production just isn't hitting for me, feels so lemon, might grow? But for now it just doesn't do it for me

Interestingly I find it easy to listen to auntie diaries and mother I sober, they just wash right over me despite the subject matter

I feel like a lot of people miss the intent of Kendrick’s usage of the word on the song though.

It isn’t even meant for shock value, it’s to illustrate just how easy and seemingly meaningless the term was to him growing up (he even says he thought of words merely as sounds at the time).

That’s why he repeats it in rapid succession. Everyday vernacular that’s so commonplace (and still is in a lot of areas) that you don’t even think about it when you use it.
