Production is so unique as it always is with him, and his rapping is still top notch. Love a lot of the themes too
Yea I generally agree it’s good but the album kind of confused me and I don’t know what to make of certain songs so I’m just gonna let it settle with me

Im Ethiopian and kendrick blames a lot on white man conditioning
Truth is, we never got colonized in Ethiopia, still got the same trauma with sexuality, it's wild how many of my aunties etc are victims of that, broke my heart fr when i learned about it
On some real shyt, some things are universal struggles in a lot of cultures, the one against sexual violence is one of those, cant judt absolve your own community bc we got done dirty
I know that's not what kendrick saying but some ppl try to tske that angle and i think it's flawed
One thing colonialism did to us all is make us believe we cant have our own evils bc we got conditions and our conditioning got conditioned
Women in general have to deal with that. Aint the stats like 1/2 of all women had to deal with (sexual) abuse in some way
