thats sad
Very sad you do not appreciate what you’re witnessing
crazy coincidence seeing we got love not only use a joker avi but to go from hating on the album before it released to liking it now
literally
U wanna bet a permaban that Kendrick sells 125k fw or u gonna shut the f*** up?
he's selling that plus more just off people wanting to hear the album
quality aside
It gets better every listen
It grows on me like Yeezus did on me too
First listen I was like... ehh what is this and then I liked it more and more
Thoughts on the album?
Fire (except for a few of the bars)
Production is so unique as it always is with him, and his rapping is still top notch. Love a lot of the themes too
when he started "I COME FROM A GENERATION OF HOM" i expected something very differently
Me too wtf. Who you think she on ktt?
Synopsis for sure. B**** looks like she could handle herself against a bear
j cole is NOT your savior
like who tf doesnt know that

We’re not putting Kendrick in our top 10 OAT though, there’s many flaws and time-issues with his career.
True, we putting him top 3

Same. First listen I was kind of confused but after 3-4 listens it starts to click.
Mother i sober hit different tooo
One thing i'll say is
Im Ethiopian and kendrick blames a lot on white man conditioning
Truth is, we never got colonized in Ethiopia, still got the same trauma with sexuality, it's wild how many of my aunties etc are victims of that, broke my heart fr when i learned about it
On some real shyt, some things are universal struggles in a lot of cultures, the one against sexual violence is one of those, cant judt absolve your own community bc we got done dirty
I know that's not what kendrick saying but some ppl try to tske that angle and i think it's flawed
One thing colonialism did to us all is make us believe we cant have our own evils bc we got conditions and our conditioning got conditioned

Listen to more rappers (from different time periods) and remake your list

I don't want to be that guy because it's not even been 24 hours... but is this his best album?? Like after Damn. I still believed TPAB was his best but after 3 listens of this I feel like this could be his best

it's so weird but for some reason you just can't put kendrick anywhere near all time top 5
