How you hear a song like Mother I Sober and Pablo comes to mind.. niggas are dumb.
This album was his Donda. Some really great songs and some decent and it feels personal. He's already made his Graduation (gkmc)
MBDTF (TPAB)
Yeezus (DAMN)
A lot of people might hate this album at first but it will age good
What I mean is the effect into both is not the same and nor is the message
And took far more risks
Cuz Kanye is great. One of the few who takes risks and makes it work
Pharrell finessed the hell outta Jack Iām dying man lol. Went and did a vid with him in studio talkin bout āthis is historyā, then gave him an ass beat and gave the real heat to Kenny. Robbed him with no ski mask lmaooo
I love the way kendrick raps on here tho
Great flows
NEW FLOWS COMING BE PATIENT BROTHER
If thatās what you take away from this thatās sad because the exact opposite of what heās saying
Read what I said again, then again and see if what you responded lines up
disc 2 done. last night i was way more into disc 2 than disc 1 but now they about even. reading along with the lyrics (of course) helped.
it's definitely my most...unsure first two listens of a kendrick project i can't lie. but that's cool! i welcome projects like that, especially from great artists like him.
First two listens last night I was absolutely struggling to digest it. First two listens today⦠I love it
wonder if we might get a UU 2 type project soon after this
Please. I need Prayer on streaming services immediately
this album is miles ahead of donda and TLOP you guys are doing some crazy meat wiggling
How you hear a song like Mother I Sober and Pablo comes to mind.. niggas are dumb.
I didn't think FEAR could get more depressing until I heard that one. Good lord
it absolutely is bruh listen to mirror
he's talking about his own problems in a very tactful way actually, i love father time and mother i sober, but his reasoning for now mostly being focused on his own problems and disregard for social issues bc he cant save everybody lol.. no i dont f*** with that mindset, if you guys do go ahead but that's not me
Well considering this album is all about perspectives, Iām not about to tell you yours is wrong just because I donāt see it that way.
The takeaway I have from this album is that it is pointless to sit around waiting for a hero to come and save you, because that doesnāt exist in the real world. Instead, focus on bettering yourself and fixing from the inside out instead of waiting for someone else to do it for you.
He tried to be Kanye but it failed.
only kanye can truly be "cancelled" and overcome it

DAMN is his Yeezus????
I hate this site fr
lorde said she's not our savior and been getting s***ted on her whole era
ain't that a b****
I like Nikki Jean. She does a great job on Lupe's albums.
I don't know if Kendrick and her have a working relationship like that though.
never forget Cole been having the same poor girl singing hooks on every album since his debut but never once credited her with a feat!
Anyone think Nikki Jean shouldve been on this album instead of Summer Walker
Honestly can name hella artist that couldāve took her place
But Iām also not mad at her feature either tbh
United In Grief is some Radiohead type s*** fr
Extremely sad that this is what becoming very rich did to him. Spiteful for no reason. Worse, spite turned against people who are just there to listen to him. Ā« I am doing me, not what you want! Ā» when what you do is just saying that isnāt doing anything. Ā« I am not your savior! Ā» Nobody said you were. Chill, Kendrick.
Yup, you can definitely hear a lot of resentment on this album. Something seems to have changed him after DAMN. Maybe it's private life, maybe the fame. Who knows
Donda outsold i'm afraid
wild that every single snippet made it one way or another
