I always thought of a name change like pronouns, you refer to someone the way they want to be referred to and I think there's a lot of unique power in someone's name so I always hold high regard for names in general but it's good to know there's a particular term for calling someone that had transitioned by their former name and to hear thoughts on how destructive that can be
yeah, as someone who has a deadname, it feels gratifying to be called rome in real life because i really do feel validated in my own skin, whereas being deadnamed in places like my work where people don't really... get being trans can really be a detriment to my mental health n self esteem

MangoThe song is anti f-slur by the end. I think it's more of Kendrick using himself as a template to show others how to grow. Heart Part 5 pretty much says that and this album demonstrates it on a personal level.

I know itās early days but it really might be
aside from his origin story on GKMC, his other works have mostly been illuminating societal issues whereas he completely gives himself and his personal wisdom to this album
