bossyyyyymy thing is ppl are being tough on him abt it bc of the stuff he said, but he’s also literally giving his views on the situation from his child POV which I feel is overlooked currently
this song highlights how hard it is to be yourself more than anything for me

Water Giver· editedHavent heard it all yet but most the album seems to be him rejecting, reflecting, dissecting & comparing expectations & assumptions on him & others/black people/rap music in the past & present with the perspective of his own experiences.
Heart pt 5 was about reflecting, comparing & rejecting "culture". The twisted & blanket term, not black culture as a whole. Of street life n world issues seeping into entertainment & entertainemnt seeping into street life & world issues. Using the faces of each part as an example to prop up his point & illustrated the pictire harder.
At least that is my take so far & perspective, two sides of the same coin.
But yeah, sound wise its like tpab and damn fused imo so far for me, with a lil bit of new on top.

What you think so far?
imma need more time to really rate it. i love it, but some s*** is just jarring. Similar feeling to when i listen to a manic ass kanye song, its amazing but like, damn bro. lots of transparency and kinda contradictions, it seems scattered but in an intentional way. Whole album really gives me kanye vibes
