i'm queer and don't identify as my birth gender either. i felt exalted by the raw honesty in which kendrick explained his growth and how he experienced and viewed bigotry during his childhood.
the truth isn't pretty, but it's the truth. and it certainly isn't malicious. it's the first step in recognising where to fix said faults.
Lots of people understand this deep down thereās just a lot of people pretending out of fear, or donāt have the emotional intelligence to understand the nuance.
