Not that my opinion matters, but Kendrick’s music resonates with, has motivated, and is a soundtrack for a lot of people who are putting in work…..so I think that’s a very lazy critique that he’s capitalizing off of a movement that his music is very plugged into and inspires a lot of people in that realm of activism or whatever you want to label it. His voice really does matter especially when it’s also a commercial factor of sorts. Literally lightning in a bottle that he can make content like this and have it ring out across culture.
