Bad Boys For Life
8/10
Really fun movie, good action, amazing score (it’s Lorne Balfe duhhh)
I don’t regret owning the Godzilla criterion set at all, but after the first movie s*** starts to get MID af. So I’m struggling to get through the set, last night’s Mothra vs Godzilla was big trash. In comparison, even the lesser films from their BBS story set are at least nice to look at. I’m jumping between the two sets rn
Rewatched Midnight Special for the first time since it came out.
Very underrated movie.
What’s up w this f***ing continued ktt1 trend of posting a pic + rating w no title like nobody knows what the f*** you’re talking about just post the title please
Just a bunch of edgy c***s. It makes them feel so special and better than everyone else.
The Master (2012) - 8.5/10
First time seeing it again after the initial release.
I forgot just how visually beautiful this movie is

Haven't seen that Mothra one since I was little (or the original) so I can't speak on it... But that's supposed to be one of the best ones, going by what I've seen from other folks I follow who are fans of that franchise
I plan on getting that set during the one of the half-off sale months this year tho, cause it looks really well done and I wouldn't mind checking them all out eventually

Little Women (2019)
8.5/10
Yeah this is really good. Great acting all around. Saoirse Ronan and Timothee Chalamet were fantastic every time either of them were on screen and even better together. Timothee probably deserved a best supporting nom for this. Film does a great job of showing intimate and dramatic moments that allow us to feel at home with the characters and feel the emotions they do. I also appreciate the way the film pays off those moments later that give both the sweet and heartbreaking moments meaningful.
This is really solid and I enjoyed it. The non-linear storytelling was fine, but did confuse me for a moment towards the end. Great film but it isn’t exactly mind-blowing or a game changer.

Yea I was disappointed because it does have a better relative reception, but the final fight scene is really unapologetically embarrassing to watch. It is still phenomenally well done though with the packaging+illustration for each movie. At the very least, it is a fantastic (and semi-fantastically expensive) coffee stand decoration 💀

Damn that Mothra theme song is still a classic tho haha. That's the only thing I still vividly remember from watching the film as a kid cause my grandpa would always sing it haha
Dr Sleep is so good! 8.5/10
They really got Jacob Tremblay for that role?
Rebecca Ferguson
Mike Flanagan also edited this?

The score and sound production in Midnight Special is underrated and very well done
