kinda crazy how different von Trier's work is from Breaking The Waves onwards. This is basically a hazy psychological noir with Tarkovskian visuals yet many original visual ideas and tons of surrealistic inagery. Europa is probably the closest I can think of in style but with less Hollywood-influence. Early Sokurov might also fit in. Underrated.

Joker - 8/10

Great movie. It was a bit disturbing and cringy but I really enjoyed it. I'd love a sequel that would be explore a more crime-noir aspect of arthur but I'm also satisfied with the ending which imo was the best part of the movie.
