@deepsleep Somehow listening to Duster made me think you might like Tony Molina, it’s not noisy but it’s low fi, extremely short albums like we talking 10 minutes type, he started tapping very much into early Weezer type songs and then did some Beatles like

Indie classic for many. I've come back to it many times over the years but it's never quite clicked for me.
I have warmed up to it over more re-listens but man Win Butler cannot sing. He just sucks all the atmosphere out of every song
6.5/10
Don't think it's a coincedence that my favorite part of the album are the final 3 tracks where Regine takes lead vocals for two of them

Listened to the first Duster album (1998 one right?) I don’t think it’s enough of my stuff to keep digging through, I really grew out of that whole genre it doesn’t move me really, it’s alright tho

one other issue i have this album is the mixing (i know its on purpose) but i dont feel it fits album for some reason
I do really love the crown of love through, i might go back to it in the future

What you think of the other Weezer albums?
Amazing mix of a hauntingly beautiful song
I love Blue, Pinkerton, Maladroit, EWBAITE, and White, classics
Red and Green had their moments and Black had High As A Kite which is a cool cut
What about you?
since i left you - the avalanches
easy 9/10

I think the mix is better actually it drags on for a minute in the intro once the organ chords settles in but the way it layers everything out is incredible
I actually am a big fan of White like everyone else but I also rank Pacific Faydream among their best lol I just think ppl are biased on what a Weezer song should be and therefor hate either way when the songwriting is great through out on this one
unlike Black where I would agree with you
since i left you - the avalanches
easy 9/10
Can’t wait for new album, speaking of Weezer
since i left you - the avalanches
easy 9/10
the greatest Australian album of all time
