Aphex Twin - Select Ambient Works 85-92

It will never stop astounding me how some of this was made when Richard D. James was 14. Havent listened in a while but when I heard this first when I was 15 I was floored with how gorgeous was. Xtal is probably one of the greatest openers in existence, as it serves as a statement of the album’s intent: an otherworldy experience filled to the brim with ethereal and synthetic sounds. James has mastered making the robotic beautiful and 1000% deserves his legacy as a pioneer of the IDM movement

Really good lowfi R&B album with soulful/jazz production. It's under 40 minutes so even though it's very similar sounding, it's short enough to keep me interested throughout.

theres not much to say about this one, its just one of them

favorite songs: Good, Claire, Do Not Go Quietly Unto Your Grave

as i was pretty into YWGWYW i decided go back to this offering by daughters from start of 2010s and holy s*** is amazing

The record lets go more and plays into their grindcore background where its just less to YWGWYW atmospheric and coordinated general (if thats good or bad thing thats up to debate). It dabbles into Industrial Rock, Mathcore, Metal, No Wave, and Noise Rock but comes of very unique and intersting to hear. I also think this album could be great album to get into those genres as mixing and clean production makes listen well worth the 28mins run time

If you looking for great noise rock record which short and sweet this is amazing
