Fr. Like I've seen kids get their heads bounced on because instead of fighting the kid who wanted to fight them, they laid down instead. Somewhere along the line parents stopped telling their kids they'd better fight back if attacked, and I honestly think that change is for the worse.
Feb 8, 2022I was thinking the same thing. Not to pin this on her, but I really wish her fight or flight kicked in. Instead she did the worst possible thing and froze up. I'm definitely making sure my kids are better equipped to deal with this because damn, that was a bad watch.

You make an exception cause you feel like somebody don’t deserve to be protected by the law that become the rule and then it eventually becomes exploited, now a racist ass judge could just try a black kid as an adult all cause he got into a fight and cite them trying her as an adult if someone question it

Bruh this reminded me of Floyds situation.
Not exactly the same ofc
But everyone watching someone doing something horrendous and literally doing nothing.
And then just f***ing filming it.
Wtf is the point of "capturing" a crime and not stopping it when you have the ability to.
In my opinion. Filming a crime like this is just as bad as the person who committed the crime if you have the chance to stop a possible life altering injury/ death.

Do you know teachers aren’t allowed to touch students period which includes breaking up a fight? She risks getting fired, especially since it’s on camera, and if her or the student get hurt she’s definitely getting fired.
But that weak, contained “heeelp” really pissed me off.
I'd rather lose my job than let someone possibly die when I could have done something about it.

She stops the fight and risks getting hurt, sued, and blacklisted from any local schools.
Or doesn’t and have Twitter on her neck about somehow being “equally responsible” and “allowing” it to happen.
It was a lose-lose situation for her altogether. I guess in her defense she couldn’t have known that student would have kept going as hard as she did and could have stepped between her to body those punches, but I don’t know.Imagine trusting schools that blacklist you for protecting a child.
