Who said what someone earns as income dictates what their worth as a person in the human sense?
capitalism?
Can't imagine studying for 8 years and being in training for 7 years to become a brain surgeon just for fun lmao.
And then work an average of 61 hours a week. I doubt more than 1% of people would do all that because they love doing it
well they shouldn't be working 61 hours a week no matter what.
hahaha mate he has never done an hour of physical labour in his life, what a goofy
its very weird that you people can't have this conversation without making weird ass assumptions.

your weird ass assumption is that people will en masse flog themselves for a "sense of fulfilment", mine is perfectly logical as a result
I understand that not all people have equal capabilities. But just because someone is a factory worker and someone is a brain surgeon does mean that one deserves any less than the other.
This belief is the root of your problem. This is so far from reality. The second half. And it must only come from the fact you have no idea what it takes to become something like a surgeon or what it takes to work that as a job
capitalism?
Economic system will always care about money, it doesn't mean you can't separate it from values of people.
Money is money and people are people.
There are rich people who could care less about their money, and there are some poor people who never care about getting rich.

i dont think u know what flogging is if ur using it in such a way
a factory worker and a brain surgeon should not be paid the same
becoming a brain surgeon is a 110% biggest time investment then becoming a factor worker
shout out to both, both are necessary, but pay is based on time investment, and someone who took 8 years in school and x amount of years in training should not be paid the same as a factory worker

capitalism does not let society differentiate people's value from their worth as people

What defines the worth of someone to you

the harsh reality is that his viewpoint comes from a lack of success
human nature will always value people who are good at things. whether that be through financial status, attention from women, power or influence etc.
a world where those who are poor at things are valued the same as those who are superior is not realistic. think about how stupid it sounds.

This is not a "problem" lmao. Again, lets have this conversation when you can stop making baseless assumptions.
the fact they are a human being
What if their dishonest and alienated from general society

i'll correct you and say pay is based upon value, which is generally a function of rarity/specificity in ability and the role's ability to generate productivity

so who are you or anyone else to decide what things are considered desirable?
a doctor could be a s***ty house builder or home caretaker, and vice versa.
so now the doctor is poor at something that someone else is superior at. why is the doctor valued more highly?
Don’t discriminate against people’s questions. There are no stupid questions. You made the thread and you want to spread awareness. Do that instead.
We need J Cole to write a verse towards OP

We're all human beings and that should give us all a minimum of some worth whatever it is.
But some of us will behave different from others just naturally, so do you think that does anything to affect someones worth?
No one will be. Or surgeons. Or any other complex job society needs that is rewarded by pay. No one will have incentive to work hard
Just be a potato farmer bro

one is readily replaceable, one isn't. I wouldn't have thought it was hard to figure that out

No
