everything ran by the government is low tier

look at the damn dmv or any governmental building

you wanna have to wait in a line all day like at the dmv when something in your apartment breaks?

people don’t get the logistics behind private ownership

it allows the division of labor at the managerial level to be spread out over multiple actors, as opposed to one set organization running everything. it gives more efficiency and allows everyone to have a service provided to them in a relatively efficient manner

that’s why competition is good, it gives us as consumers more options to choose from, and puts pressure on suppliers to increase the quality of their product

So you just get property on a certain age or is there another factor that decides this? Still leaves a practical problem open who decides who gets which ground. But alright that's solvable.

Biggest questionmark for stays the financial gap this creates for government. Would this increase certain taxes?

like i said you could just cut the military budget to pay for it, but i dont subscribe to the idea that our taxes are what pays for things

Well alright I don't know if I really agree on that. But that's a fair point

You see, if people with similar opinions as Synopsis were less sanctimonious about these subjects maybe their opinions would be valued and discussed more.

people are pinning this concept on communist theory when it was the forefathers of capitalism that despised landlords in the first place

not really, the logistics behind managing 300+ million people vs, say 50-80 million, is vastly different

most people also just dont care lmao. On average most people deeply care about only a select few things and work on those. Most of them don't want to spend time dictating how to govern state/city/county/national matters.

If even in the current system we have a large issue with people who are too lazy to actually go out and fill in their vote for the president of their country, imagine how bad it must be when it comes to them voting in representatives for their state (you don't have to considering we still elect white supremacists and pedophiles/rapists). A people's government would be an absolute disaster and far worse than what we currently got.

Guess we should just stay in this hideously exploitative system we have then.

the united states is essentially the most powerful nation-state on Earth. we can't manage 300+ million people because the government would rather fund corrupt endeavors instead of putting any money towards a project that can help our country. it's not that we can't, it's because the powers that be won't

its the only system that fully acknowledges that every human inherently wants the best for themselves and rewards competition

Any other would either be too oppressive or cause most people to stop giving a s*** cuz someone else will take care of them

What we really should be doing is removing lobbying from politics.
