It was ok.. definitely the worst in the series. They tried to recapture the magic of the other films but it fell flat. It didn't need to be made.

It waaaaaashes Revolutions IMO. I thought it didn’t try to recapture the magic of the other films. Like, it deliberately made a point not to. Which is what made it GOATed.

They both suck but I liked Revolutions more.

That’s wild some people get that it tries to recapture the other movies magic. I thought it did an amazing job straying away from intentional nods or fan service. And when there were those moments, it was deep into the fold already once you spent time questioning the reality the film places you in. In other words:

I mean I still think it’s more meta than people think that in the end Neo holds the cat which is nostalgia and the whole movie the cat symbolic of nostalgia was following him even stopping him from suicide or death . He was the creator ( Lana the wachowskis) while at the same time again I may argue especially with that suspicious third act structured like a video game plot . The whole thing is matrix 4 the game he was making

It's a good movie.
It's just f***ed up for being called a Matrix movie.
