I’m confused, are u tagging me cause I enjoyed Dune? Haha. I quite liked the “this is just the beginning” line, it had an air of playful mystery and it felt very dream-like.

Brooooooo, it blew my face off.

First off, the visuals are bananas. Outside of good or bad, on another plane. Like Tim and Eric became legitimate action directors.

We peaked with anime adaptations here. I can’t imagine any other directors getting it right.

I also enjoyed the characters, their earnestness, their passion, how the loss of Rex reverberates through the film. Trixie and Speed’s date, Susan Sarandon’s speech about how Speed is an “artist”, all of John Goodman’s scenes, there’s just such goodness and SOUL. That little boy and his monkey can hang too, they ruled.

Movie was okay for me. Not bad. Not amazing. But it was just alright.

I ain’t tell y’all to hate dune or admit it’s ass . I said it was biting and emotionless to me but glad you loved it. Will wait til directors cut or part 2 considering many of you discussed cool action scenes , sequel and reviews more than the actual movie and still are months later

It's completely fine to like a franchise but still be able to call it as it is. The movie was a disappointment.
