ayo i just realized tulsa jesus freak (and the entire album) was titled 'white hot forever' and she changed it cause she didnt wanna get hit with racism accusations
2019 interview “I’ve already written parts of it,” the musician told The Times of her next album. “It’s called White Hot Forever"

The eighth track on the album, "Yosemite", was originally intended to be included on Del Rey's fifth studio album, Lust for Life (2017). In a 2017 interview with Zane Lowe, Del Rey stated the track was excluded from Lust For Life because "the song was too happy; we're not there yet."

that was an older working title that she told fans might not end up as the title months before all the controversy
but yeah that's the joke everyone's been making lol
when she announced White Hot Forever i thought that was one of her weaker titles so I wasn't mad when she switched it. I think it works really well. I even think Dark But Just A Game would be a better fit for the music/themes than WHF would.
