this album is her shortest (track wise) i could see her going solo and having the Joni cover with Weyes and Zella to cap it off. damn i can't f***in wait man

thats fair tbh, she's kinda like Kanye where she doesn't know how articulate stuff, her words don't usually come from a place of ignorance

I mean I think her point was to provocative.

The first line she’s naming artists lmao. It was wild as hell.

I agreed with her statement I really did but it just was so f***ing random.

I've been tryna get into Weyes Blood. Her songwriting doesn't really impress me, only songs that stuck with me on Titanic Rising are Andromeda and Something to Believe. Is there something I'm missing because it was one of the most critically acclaimed albums of 2019.

This is something that Del Rey’s Scottish boyfriend says to her when he enjoys going down on her.

The Pepsi Cola comparison falls in line with Lana’s usage of Americana throughout her works.

In an interview with zeit.de, Lana said:

"So what? I think the line is funny. My boyfriend is Scottish, he deems American girls very exotic. He once told me: “You American girls walk around as if your p**** tasted like Coca-Cola, as if you’d wrap yourself into an American flags to sleep.” He deems us all very patriotic."

The use of Pepsi Cola instead Coca Cola could mean that she’s the second choice, as she usually sings in basically all the other songs.
    I'm weak...

    You know your stuff

true that makes the criticism stronger but i do also see the production not being everyone's bag. unfortunate because her pen has never been better.

When Pitchfork turns on you they stop reviewing your music and start reviewing your life and all the decisions you've made publicly in the last 12 months

agreed, also thought that it was amazing that she was finally hitting her mark in terms of songwriting. The production definitely does get stale and some songs just have no buildup or interesting progression like Bartender but man her vocals were on point on every track man, for once she didn't drape her vocals in reverb
