Glad you enjoyed it bro. Was also a surprise to me to see him write something other than sci fi.

    What was your favorite part?

honestly I think father-son s\*\*\*, mostly old timers thoughts ... it gave me a lot of nostalgia and hmmm... a lot of actual feelings and empathy for this kinda situation

Just finished the book lol. Loved it โค๏ธSome of the themes/characters really resonate with me, especially Will and his father's relationship and the struggle with acceptance by the latter. Again, the writting style is beautiful but i understand how some people can't get into it, since this type of descriptive prose isn't my thing either but Bardbury's pen game is on point Mf creates moods and pictures effortlessly.
Wanna read it again sometime soon tbh, since only got the physical book when i was halfway through it

    Perfect Fall book ๐Ÿ‚

Yes! I'm glad you loved it, fam. I think i'm the same, where i really just connected with this book on a whole other level, and that's why i hold it so dearly.

Bradbury is such a beast though. His writing is another thing that just clicks with me, so that's probably where a lot of the my bias for him comes from.

I think i'm gonna start running through Bradbury's books soon. I've read a few and have read some of his short stories too, which are all goat

โ€œFirst of all, it was October, a rare month for boys.โ€

Bruhhhh i have read that lol. I didn't recommend it because it's considered a "young adult" book, but its definitely not lol. If you're looking for a truly great Halloween read, def peep that. Loved the story and everything about it, and it's typical Bradbury with his descriptiveness and poetic ish

From the little i know about it, it's a book that basically aims at understanding the relation between reality and language and to delimit how far we can express our thoughts/ideas in conversation... โ€œThe limits of my language means the limits of my world."

It's the first thing i'm gonna read by him, so i'm not really familiar with his philosophy that well outside of watching some videos about it

shared these just in case you're interestedโ€‹

my recommendation for the next book is The White Boy Shuffle by Paul Beatty. my favorite book from one of my favorite authors that I've been meaning to reread and I think a lot of people on here would like it.

I'll give any book a chance tho
