not yet but I'm closing in
that balloon part was f\*\*\*ed up, I was scared for lil homie
As I'm approaching the end of the book I kinda feel like his style of writing isn't fit for horror cuz I wasn't REALLY feeling it like that.
But that may be cuz I was spoiled reading prime Koontz and Masterton and King as a kid.

I don't really consider this book horror though tbh, and i don't think it's supposed to be. It's a book for Autumn if simply put haha. You wanna feel Autumn vibes? Read this book here lol

Y'all like Koontz? I could never get into his stuff, but someone recommended watchers tho

Bacc in the day Koontz was top tier s*** when it came to horror and invention. Was creative and a good read. Then dude fell off hard as f***... I'd recommend "Phantoms", "Twilight", "Hideaway".
it's beautifully written, really creates such vivid images. The atmosphere
I'm on chapter 18 That part where the boys see Mr. Cooger becoming younger as the carousel spins backwards is so brilliant

And yeah s*** really bouta hit the fan soon haha
BTW if anybody else is interested, Joe Hill (Stephen King's son) wrote a short story called Dark Carousel, and it's basically a homage to Something Wicked. Def peep

It does low key remind me of it, just because of the kids though and the time period. Not as scary for me though.
