even though 3 is my favorite in the series, a couple of the disney worlds (stories) were kinda weird. not a huge disney fan in the first place, but i somehow enjoy playing through them in these games.

would recommend playing through the remind dlc and doing the data battles/secret boss because those are absolute peak action rpg fights.

I feel like Kingdom Hearts has always been a Disney game and Kingdom Hearts 3 kinda confirmed that for me so I find it strange that they would go away with that. I'm sure they can find a way to fit all those movies you mentioned into the game

It’s probably Hades at the end of the trailer.

Hades is the King of the Underworld and herald of the dead and Sora is stuck in some sort of “afterlife”.

They’re probably gonna try and get Hades to transport them there to get Sora.

We might be getting Final Fantasy realistic Donald and Goofy.

At this moment in time, the gameplay is probably my favourite thing about KH so i'm definitely gonna have to play those at some point.

Disney still own the IP in conjunction with Square Enix so they get paid regardless, they got their games with all their properties being in the centre, now Nomura gets to work on giving Kingdom Hearts it’s own staple universe that can live on it’s own without rehashing Lion King and Aladdin for the 11th time.

Everyone will be happy with this turn in creative.

We will see man, i'm sure the inclusion of all these Disney Worlds helps sell and promote the game too. I'm not a fan of Disney but to me I feel like the Disney aspect is core to the KH franchise. For them to throw that all away just doesnt make any sense

theres more to be done with fantasy KH original worlds have like some of the best world design in video games all classics destinty islands twilight town hollow bastion traverse town 10/10

It’s still a Disney IP with or without the Disney Worlds. If Sora, a Disney owned entity, is now facing off with Darth Vader and Thanos instead of Pete and Maleficent they shouldn’t have a problem because Vader and Thanos are Disney owned entities.

The heads at Disney seem to have become a lot more progressive since Feige and the more hip guys came in so they aren’t so rigid as Iger and Katzenberg were.

I think they’ve realised as well that Nomura has taken the original concept as far as it will go. And they will get more lifespan out of KH evolving instead of KH4 being the same thing and the stale concept killing the franchise by the time it gets to 5.

We’ve been to all those places a million times.

Again, if you want the classic s***, stick with the classic games and let the franchise evolve for the rest of us that are ready for progress.

But Nomura needs to stretch out now and ensure that the KH franchise has a viable future.

Because I don’t know if you missed it but there are a lot of people who weren’t looking forward to another KH3 style game.

I put this boss battle and the Data Zion battle up against any of them.
