stating the obvious here but any legal system that even allows a settlement that makes someone legally untouchable like this was never a just one in the first place. like this isn't double jeopardy preventing the state from harassing a person over a specific event. the Trumps will violate tax law at the next possible opportunity, as if they ever stopped, and, according to this, nothing will be done about it.
