But at the same time, I would hazard a bet that the general voting public (the people that only vote in the General Election and not the Dem Primary) still view her as the leader of the “woke” “social justice warrior” movement — even though her focus for a while now has really been on domestic economic issues.

I don't think it will hurt her at all because by 2028 I think people will be begging for "woke" to be back. Just look at the polls. Young people who supported Trump are abandoning him, hispanics and independents are too.

Trump is proving what the left has said all along. Immigrants, African Americans, Muslims, Transgendered people, or any other marginalized groups are not the problem. Getting rid of them/removing their political power will not improve your life whatsoever.

Sticking to a strictly economic message is what unites all groups together, which is the the prime challenge of the Democratic Party (since it has such a large diverse tent of constituencies)
