I’m not saying it’s not working, but I’ve seen a few people say it’s effective and I don’t really see evidence brought up about it. I don’t consider it “working” for anyone besides Gavin if the only metric is that he is rising in 2028 primary polling or his approval rating or popularity rating among Democrat voters, since all that means is he’s positioning himself in a better position to beat other Democrats, but not necessarily positioning himself as a good General Election candidate.
