And the advancement of AI will help all aspects of life, from medicine, to DIY, to new discoveries, is what I personally hope for.
For example, imagine being able to ask it how to do a certain job on your car, and then it shows you pictures of exactly everything you need and will be looking at, and then even generates a step by step video. We're not too far off from that. Then imagine that with like any other industry, from carpentry, to engineering. You don't think car manufacturers aren't gonna go crying to the govt about it being unfair that people can actually help themselves?
I agree that it will soon need to be a force that needs to be contained, but I'd rather it be "free" than the government try to "protect" us by making laws that can be bought out anyway.

I’m wondering how far this could escalate.
Keep seeing people claim that this could be used as a means to declare Martial Law, but I’m assuming they must mean on a state basis, because how could you justify it nationally if protests are seemingly isolated to LA?

That's how Biden won, but none of that matters anymore.
All the "well I went through one Trump term already and it wasn't bad" people are going to have to go through it again and potential a third time (if the trend of being able to ignore the laws of our country continues)

not sure if youre saying what i think u are but i think most people project a much more progressive set of values onto her that KH didn't even believe in to cope with the fact she's a centrist who said she wouldn't change anything about bidens gaza policy and she hasn't said literally anything about anything going on since she left office she doesn't give a f*** about anything
