Wait what, you’d be surprised if AOC runs? I feel like I’d be super surprised if she didn’t run at this point
And I definitely do not see Pete attempting to get the Left vote. He’s a policy wonk for sure, but his policy approaches have always been extremely moderate.
Speaking of the Left vote though, I’d be very curious to see who will attempt to challenge AOC for even the mainstream Left vote (like Warren was aiming for in 2020). Only name that comes to mind is Ro Khanna, but I don’t think he has the name recognition or charisma to get enough appeal.
Surprised probably wasn’t the right word, intrigued maybe? It would be interesting to see her in debates, how far left she pushes policy and how mainstream media reacts to her performance and policy ideas.
I don’t know if her team is prepared for a presidential run, I feel like she stays pretty busy as is, but there’s still a couple years left to develop a campaign and goals.

Hope she does
this guy is actually f***ing RÉTARDÉD. who the F*** is running the economic policy for this administration
That psycho Peter Navarro is literally the only one spearheading this tariff policy
Honestly, I don't feel bad if any of these people did crimes and got deported. It's the crop of other hardworking law-abiding citizens that are getting rounded up with them that are getting f***ed over.
is this supposed to make the concentration camp ok?

How do you know if they did those crimes?

Okay what about the absence of the due process to find these people guilty of their crimes lol

I think a lot of people genuinely dont realize none of these people have been proven to have done the crimes
they're deported based on accusations alone

i don't think this is fully true. part of the reason they can even locate most of these people is because they were already convicted of the crime and cataloged by the state (albeit not deported). this has actually been a practice used by past administrations as well.
by comparison a major distinction about this admin vs past ones is that they are also targeting random civilians "believed" to fall under rules based on inconsistencies in immigration record.
For example even someone was naturalized, if they originally were here w/o permanent residence status for even 1 year, they're being classified in the same way as offenders. this isn't something which has been deployed before and is where most of the danger comes from since they're arbitrarily overriding state, judicial, and agency provisions

Talked to someone last week that told me his Chinese friend that was doing a phd at Dartmouth got his student visa revoked because he got a speeding ticket 2 years ago lol

I'm not trying to be an ass but is there a source on this? The karoline levit chick just seems to dodge this every time it's asked

Not sure what you mean, this is actively reported as what they’re doing? They’re obviously not only doing that though which is muddying it for sure as prior mentioned
If you want proof this is a methodology admins use (I.e how these people are cataloged) here’s a 2016 article:
migrationpolicy.org/news/unauthorized-immigrants-criminal-convictions-who-might-be-priority-removal
Based on it, we estimated in a 2015 report that 820,000 of the approximately 11 million people living in the country illegally had criminal convictions. Of these, we estimated 300,000 had a felony conviction and 390,000 were serious misdemeanants (meaning they had been convicted of a misdemeanor in which they were sentenced to actual custody of 90 days or more).
These 820,000 unauthorized immigrants are a subset of the 1.9 million noncitizens identified by DHS as :removable criminal aliens
Under US law simply being convicted doesn’t mean you get deported because it’s different agencies - there’s some history in the article explaining how this works now and why . A local police can catalog you but then it gets fuzzy when it comes to conviction and post-conviction handling (such as deportation).
