How tf did this turn into Gambino vs Cudi lmfaooo

Love both of them but Bino is objectively the better artist by far.

WHAT?!, I've heard it all now Gambino is cool but Cudi started the lane Gambino occupies in

Even with Movies & TV, Cudi pioneered for guys like Gambino. Dude was in How To Make It In America, putting on for that type of crowd on HBO in 09.

Cool. Gambino still ended up with a better discography and better shows.

Not really because Gambino never dropped pure unfiltered dogshit like Insano, SB2H, WZRD, or Satellite Flight.

Y'all keep tryna fall back on Camp when even at its absolute worst, still was not as bad as SB2H.

WZRD and Satellite Flight aren't good but not necessarily terrible either. SB2H is starting to get more respect for it's ambition. Bino really doesn't have two albums as influential as MOTM1&2, you can say BTI but still, it's not as influential as MOTM1.

Gambino showed ambition with AML and actually made a great album.

Cudi showed ambition with SB2H and it was AND STILL IS trash.

Ambition doesn't mean an album can't still be terrible.

Y'all keep falling back on "influence" and like...okay? None of this changes the fact that BTI and AML are still incredible albums lol this is pathetic cope for Cudi.

The MOTM series is still more influential then both, and you can argue the music is better depending on preference. BTI is his best rap effort by far, Royalty mixtape is cool ut, Cudi has "A Kid Named Cudi". Don't forget about Camp lol

This might be the first time I’ve ever seen their names in the same sentence honestly

They don’t operate the same lane whatsoever

    lock the thread man

  • Why does Cudi get a pass for dropping a streak of s*** albums because of "ambition" when it's been plenty of artists who showed ambition with their albums and they made good albums?

Where was Cudi's aMbITiOn to make good music?

Hey so Gambino can act, sing, direct, rap, and produce.

And heavy emphasis on singing and acting well. Gambino is up there with Jamie Foxx in terms of pure talent and skill.

Cudi so lame man, his mopey whiny “lord of the sad and lonely” raps hit when you’re a mopey whiny 16-year-old, but as an adult it just comes across as so juvenile. Delusions of grandeur out the ass

Growing up is accepting that people can have opinions. I love majority of Cudi and Bino’s catalog, but I’m not going to force niggas to like their s***
