The Cole disrespect is lame as f*** he's far more relatable and far less pretentious than Kendrick has way better bars too been saying this since 2012 I just can't get with the Kendrick glazing as if he's the second coming of Jesus lol
Kendrick glazing is annoying but he deserves it
When you drop one of the best debut in GKMC and then follow that up with a masterpiece in TPAB, you can do no wrong. He's a media darling.
That's also why Mr. Morale is gassed. That album did not hit like it was suppose to.
Cole hasn't dropped enough great albums even though he's a good rapper. So some of the criticism is fair and warranted.
And the reason why he hasn't dropped enough great albums like Drake and Kendrick is because
- He didn't want to collaborate with producers to complement his vision with certain albums
- He has trouble executing when it comes to concept albums
- He has trouble with sequencing and having the right tempo
- Yes men in the studio???

People say Drake declined after IYRTITL but that's not completely accurate.
We saw some of the lyrical decline with Views but that album had too many gems that made up for it.
Drake's real decline (artistically) started after More Life.
This is needs to be assessed.
