None of this means he isn't black, which is the point being made. Cole talking like an American and being raised American gives him a pass with black Americans. That's all there is to it. If you're gonna question Drake's blackness then question Cole's blackness too because I thought blackness was determined by one's actual racial make-up, not where or how they were raised?

Does a white man who was raised around black people automatically become black? And does a black person who was raised around white people automatically become white? That's why this whole argument was dumb from the jump.

I get it was an angle to use in the beef but again, folks will call it out more and more as time passes.

You don't know Drake personally to say this. Drake's been on TV since he was 14. He's been nothing but himself since then. Y'all have been the ones projecting random s*** on to him simply because he also happened to be Canadian and Jewish. Y'all also love to bring up how he was raised by his white mom like J. Cole wasn't also raised by his white mom.

Again, any questions y'all have about Drake's blackness stems from ignorance about what identity really means. Black Americans till this day don't associate being Canadian and/or being Jewish to being black. It's something that's endured longer than Drake has been a thing, I admit, but it still screams ignorance because being either of those things doesn't automatically mean you're not black.

The fact that Cardi B has a more legitimate claim to blackness than Drake does with black Americans tells you all you need to know.
