Around 44:00 he starts getting into the beef, but peep the earlier stuff too

This s*** is super insightful. And addresses a lot of narratives.

Fair enough, I never doubted Kenny but he had never been in battle before. He could have easily taken the high road on some I have the best discog of my entire generation, come talk to me when you make a classic or could have been too wordy with it, too nerdy, or maybe failed under the pressure. But by God that nigga did everything right bruh. It's astounding. When 6:16 dropped, I knew that boy had a plan bruh

I was lurking when Push Ups leaked. I was already rooting for Kendrick going in, but the response was so pro-Drake i felt the same concerns.

When Euphoria dropped I was so excited because it showed to me that Kendrick had what it took to win the beef.

There’s always been something to me that’s grotesque about Drake’s music. When I was younger and more woke than I am now, I was bothered by Drake’s music because it felt uniquely misogynistic in a way other rappers weren’t. When Hotline Bling came out, I felt like it was weird and controlling. Weezer made a song with a similar sentiment that was a semi-joke on their first album.

Over time my autist ass learned that I should treat b****es a certain way, that in part incorporated in the misogyny i had once been against. And i sort of let my thoughts about Drake fall to the wayside. And after all, a lot of b****es liked his music.

Idk the Bobbi Altoff situation bothered me. Like here’s a married woman who destroyed her marriage with someone who loved her very deeply over a crumb of attention from one of the most famous people on earth. And as Drake went into the 2020s, that sort of energy increasingly seemed to surround him. IG thots. Dubai. It’s all so gross and vapid. Godless.

Life’s about more than money and power and clout, yet Drake’s music and aesthetic continued to embody those values. I recently watched Kubrick’s Lolita, and when I listened to For All the Dogs shortly after, I heard Drake talk to women on there in the same way the pedophile talked to 12 year old Lolita.

When MTG came out, i was in the club with a girl and her friends. My friend texted me that Kendrick had dropped again, and I went outside to my car to listen drunk off my ass. Listening to the track was a profound experience because Kendrick painted a picture of exactly what rubbed me the wrong way about Drake.

I keep switching between Euphoria, 6:16 and Meet The Grahams...

Crazy neither of these three are even the biggest of the ones Kendrick dropped

He really ran circles around the Ozempic Angel

Bobbi situation was all so Drake could have a “Look at this stupid white girl” moment like his mother isn’t fully white. Ruined her whole personal life just for a laugh w his boys. Drake really is the worst, and that’s the best part about Kendrick exposing him. Drake still doing this stupid s*** and proving Kendrick right at every turn.

    Every antic is feeling distasteful.

Im not really tapped in anymore so all ik about Bobbi is the Drake interview and that she pisses off people on hip hop pages. Not saying she’s cool or not, but what Drake did is weird.

The BBL Drizzy feature he did is weird. Yeah, i listen to Future and other rappers who talk about buying plastic surgery for girls, but it’s grotesque when one of the biggest entertainers in the world makes it a part of his platform. What he stands for.

There’s this girl i would FW on and off. She was seeing me again. She’d started messaging this microcelebrity who’d been this popular youtuber turned writer for Adult Swim and was clearly obsessed with him.

It didn’t make me insecure because I knew it wouldn’t go anywhere and she’d done worse to the point I was already numb (and still am with women in general). But that’s the moment I decided I was done with her.

Idk me and the other men she FW all loved and cared about her deeply, and if she was going to, even momentarily, even just thinking about, throwing all that away because someone famous was giving her attention, then what’s the point.

My goal in life is to start a family and pursue my interests: philosophy, art, and chess. Build a community. Not chase endless fame and validation

Given he is a millionaire it wouldn’t surprise me if he personally invested in her venture into the media space in the first place.

Drakes stuff for years has been nothing but power fantasy music with a few club songs mixed in. It’s very soulless and anytime he does manage to do something kinda interesting it’s because of the younger artist’s wave he jumped on.

Dude hasn’t contributed anything positive to hip hop in years save for a few flavor of the year “hits”. Dudes making bitter ass sugar daddy music and we’re supposed to believe he’s the goat of this s***?

None of this s*** would be all that bad if he wasn’t so phony about it. Fakest rapper ever
