Amazing song, my favorite out of all songs dropped
He should have finished this instead of heart part 6
"If you were in a pine box, box. I would shovel.. dirt on top"
Do you guys think what holds Kendrick back in many people's Top 5 is that he doesn't have that one influential/impact album where the whole industry shifts their style because of it.
I say TPAB is one
Sidenote: After this battle, he reached my personal Top 5. Dude is heading towards GOAT status imo.
his style is not profitable to emulate. ask Joyner Lucas and them

His generation is one of influences so its harder for them to carve out a path without acknowledging an albums of the 90s (shoutout heart part 1), and really influence is lost these days. He's firmly top 2
I need one album, a feature run then yeah I'm set

Fax, I hope the rumor about him having 2 albums this year is true.
1 where he he's conscious
2 where he bars out and goes masterpiece run of features where he puts his stamp of influence in the culture.
I keep seeing "who's here after kendrick's not like us" under completely unrelated songs lmao
Nothing changed after this battle to me. Dot and Drake been GOATs in my eyes.
What it put in perspective is that a big part of the people tolerated Drake but never embraced him.
Second thing I learned is that people only see you how they met you. And if you stay true to that you always have the benefit of the doubt. Which both Ye and Drake changed a lot over the years which lead to a rift between them and "culture".
If you lived in NY then maybe I'd believe a ten year old was kind of keeping up with the Nas and Jay beef but even then
Jerzzzzz. And You literally think every thing I say is cap I've genuinely stopped tryna convince your old school hipster ass lol
Lol they were calling Nas a has been crodie, this was the most perfect beef cause both kendrick and drake were at their peak
Who was calling Nas a has been in 2001?
Because when Nas was beefing with Jay it was post Nastradamus and everybody thought he was done
Just like when Kendrick beefed with Drake it was after MMBS flopped and everyone thought he was done?
With that being said, I can't believe Kendrick and Drake tapped out with no clear winner.
At one point, I thought this s*** was going to the death.
I'm glad it didn't get to that point.
I look forward to Drake x Kendrick getting together in 3 years and making a song together.
