Nov 23, 2024·edited·2 repliesI know Kendrick has been very open about being flawed and hypocritical at times, but I find it interesting that on MMTBS he basically set aside his ego and the “god” aura. On this album he’s very egocentric and chest beating. Not a criticism, just find it interesting that he’s seemingly walked back his mindset. Or I am I misinterpreting?
Of course you can still be humble and respectful while knowing your worth and what you deserve and standing up for yourself so maybe it’s that

I’m pretty sure Interscope only has a hand in his distribution, so he can pretty much drop whatever, they’re just in charge of getting it out to DSPs and onto physicals. He’s not signed to them, just has a distro deal with them
