WESLEYS THEORYWhich is funny because the rapping on Morale was great save for like a couple tracks
Worldwide Steppers from a technical perspective was SO impressive. Same with Father Time from a storytelling perspective. Some of his best writing ever.
There hasnt been a better album than mr morale since it dropped

Its more about the approach than the raps here
I understand he sends a message and shows he is a great rapper besides everythinh else and reminds ppl that
But we, well maybe just me as long time fans already know he can rap like hell and enjoyed him showing us his other sides& talents
I dont wanna quote everybody and make 5 replies so I do think GNX is a good album. It is just less interesting to me but it was meant to be this so Im not really hating by any means
You’re entitled to your opinion
It’s kind of the way I feel about Chromakopia. Where it’s good and you can recognize that, but it doesn’t really resonate for you personally.

Always gonna be mad at Kenny for leaving Abortion Money and Prayer off of Morale. Those were 2 top tier tracks.

Its a nice album, i actually fw this style of kenny, but he was not at his bes
Non melodic singings were soo uncatchy and boring
It's kendrick least special album
My least fav ken album with DambI will see it as a filler album and i still think he is the best rapper out rn
I dont judge him either its nice seeing him have fun
His confidence was on a whole new level, and I think that needs to be considered when ranking this album because that's important to a lot of people.
I think it needs to simmer awhile longer before judging.
But I respect your opinion

He's vicious on Savior, Auntie Diaries verse 3 is one of my favorites from a storytelling perspective, United in Grief has some very impressive flows on challenging beats, etc.

Only track I was really like “cmon you can do better then this” was on Silent Hill, but I’ve always suspected he took the backseat to give Kodak some shine on it.
Like he did for Rapsody on Complextion.

I guess I'm just whatever about what GNX is or isn't because it's gravy after the year he's had. He didn't need to put it out at all, but the fact that he did and it was really good was the cherry on top of a dominate year.

I feel u but most of his great albums are about his journeys overcoming the challenges he faces in life or career wise
Like I knew kendrick was a goat level rapper ever since he dropped look out for detox
Never thought hunger or confidence would be an issue for him.
He can drop another album like GNX next week again if he wants to
Im saying too much but I just have high artistic and personal expectations for kendrick

Complexion was a good song though. Silent Hill just a derivative song he made in like 10 minutes and added Kodak.
