The fact that the focus is gonna be on him flopping and not the fact the label isn’t letting him drop the music that he’s actually passionate about is worrying

It’s a sales thread What you expect us to talk about ? To talk about Post being f***ed up by the label there are already other threads

That's weird in Weeknd's case cause I think that album has songs that should have been way bigger. But at the same time, he did a great job promoting After Hours so it still felt very recent, he kinda dropped again too soon.

    mr get dough

Time to bring back real rollouts

Post had multiple singles, people just didn't feel them much.

I think though the album will be carried sales wise by a couple singles , it seems like the Doja song will be huge

Harry, Post, and Bad Bunny all competing for #1

Hope Bad wins but I doubt it

Might be the biggest flop we’ve seen in a while

Kendrick doing 300K at least still makes him one of the top selling rappers out. Post Malone went from 500K to Jack Harlow/Lil Durk numbers

Only a few have gotten a way from it

I remember what they was telling Ye when he went completely 360 with Graduation

They told him it wouldn’t sell well

Only really he has gotten away with making the music he wants to make and still doing numbers

    Kendrick didn’t flop s***

Anything over 250k is not a flop

It depends on who you are. If you're Lil Baby or Future that's great. If you're one of the big guys, it's not.

Post went Pop, and with that there are consequences you also gotta play with the Pop rules sale wise (huge importance of singles and physicals) . He wasnt able to do it and flopped

He been pop lmao. His two biggest albums are pop.

Yeah, it's also my AOTY, but I felt like he was too active. A short break would have helped.

Out Of Time should have reached the top of the charts tbh.
