iGOATMFer talked about the album for over a year and had a heart shaved in his head forever talking about it. People were hyping his album before he even dropped DLDT. Dude was everywhere and stayed all over the scene with features and appearances. Kendrick was in a cave and then came out two weeks before.

Comeback singles and albums from big acts do always sell better than if someone dropped an album every year. But I guess as the only artist in the history of music oversaturation isn't a thing. Lol.

no amount of sequencing can save that album , his ears just arent as good now I think. He went from producing classic tracks to some of the worst and blandest beats I've heard

He didn't drop the album so in order to apologize and give his fans something to stream while he finished the album he released 3 songs a month later or two. But CLB dropped in SEPTEMBER. He just had a random ad and the announcement on IG. In the end the promo run wasn't much different than Kendrick's.
