Now the question is will those count
Dude is mad disingenuous acting like he wasn't just trying to clown the song for debuting at #51 and carrying on like he's actually concerned because it's a 21 Savage/Drake collab that didn't debut in the top 20.
Without Christmas songs, it probably does debut in the top 20, which is why clowning it debuting at #51 is even more stupid.
Also, since when is it a rule that every collab by them must be successful? Not all their songs together are bona fide hits, despite their chart peaks. Sneakin' wasn't a hit. Mr. Right Now wasn't a hit. Calling for You wasn't a hit. More than half of their collabs aren't actual hits, despite their usual high debuts (which is something that clown understands btw).
Says a lot that the usual Drake haters on here are grasping for anything to use as an indicator of him failing or flopping

If you could read, you would know I never clowned Mr Recoup for not being a hit. I’m simply talking about how its low chart debut is the first of its kind for a Drake & 21 song in the 2020s. Clearly showing that either A) the song is garbage, or B) the want for collaborations between Drake & 21 Savage has disappeared
what the heck…don’t tell me CLB is next. I’ve been saying drake won the beef w/ meet your padre but this changes everything if true
GNX is getting outsold by take care, a 10 year old album. The numbers are not even close so stop yapping
104 million less streams than american dream’s debut week

I didn’t know it was 2031 already damn that was a long coma
american dream - 126k streaming units
what happened to the streets? - 48k streaming units
honestly, these rappers probably were botting the entire time. i'm sure part of it is that people are just over reheated 2010s trap music, but it's not like it happened overnight like these numbers would suggest.
Trying to mock a #51 debut for a random feature from the guy with the most top 5, top 10, top 20, top 40 and overall Hot 100 entries of all time must be a different level of stupid.
Some of you are legitimate idiots. It's truly amazing to see.
This all they got

Demand changes. A lot happens in 2 years.

i still think a gen-z lyricist w/ star power ala cole/dot/wale would shatter the charts. too bad he doesn’t exist ig
So me buying the album on event.biz means nothing now?
"The album just had to grow on people"

Nah, just because he had 1 flop he tried to fake numbers for doesn’t suddenly mean all his past releases were secretly flops with fake sales too lol.
American Dream did 77k streaming second week and 61k third week.
It performed normally and didn’t have some weird drop.
Mainly just comes down to 21 has been around for nearly a decade and is having a natural trajectory. Not every single artist is obviously gonna be some Eminem/Jay-Z and pull huge numbers for 20 years.
21 had more than enough of a shelf life as an artist.

Makes sense. I enjoyed drakes verse on Mr Recoup so much that I bought the entire album

i think natural decline and growing disinterest in rap music are both factors. i just find it hard to believe they account entirely for a 61% drop in streams (169m to 65m) between january 2024 and december 2025.
only reason i can think of that doesn't involve botting is the boost he got from her loss. maybe if that album never happens, there's a more gradual decline from savage mode 2 --> AD --> WHTTS?. that could be it tbh.
So the fan base that passionately hates bots is gonna go on a 2 year smear campaign right or nah?
