Timeless spent 10 more weeks on the Hot 100 than the longest charting song on The Tortured Garbage Department
Did I say TTPD had a megahit?
No non-Taylor stan knows what the f*** The Fate of Ophelia is
I still have never heard it
I couldn't care less that Midzy is a Taylor stan, that's cool or whatever, but it's funny which artists they'll s*** on to prop her up
Shake It Off spent its first 35 days at #1 on Global Spotify before she pulled it from the platform. Wonder how long it would've been #1 for
Lol y’all saying two different things, you coming from an a***ytical point about nostalgic consumption and he’s literally saying the only artists in the world worth listening to are the most streamed Spotify artists
Yeah the artists worth listening to are the artists people actually listen to. They’ll be variance from time to time but the consumption always returns to the mean with the streaming era, as seen with Kanye’s return and drakes domination. You’re just mad that the artists you wanna push aren’t the one people wanna listen to

“ You’re just mad that the artists you wanna push aren’t the one people wanna listen to”
I always see you say this but you never name the phantom artists that people try to push that nobody wants to listen to
Also you gotta laugh at bro tryna sneak Ye into his comments so it doesn’t come off as a straight Drake d*** suck

Kendrick really did a number on bro
I don’t think she’s solely doing it to outperform Nicki, the album flopped she’s just doing whatever she can to recoup money for her label
She dropped it to break the tie of longest running female rap album in the top 10. 😭
Samething with the snow mix bonus version and the signed CDs.

You’re so bad faith. Until tlop kanye was my favorite artist and outside of drake n future, I don’t consider other current Hiphop artists to be on his level. But I guess you gotta push your narratives

Bruh f*** the Ye s***. I just want to know what artists you think people want to push that they are mad don’t sell. Just name the rappers lol
what does 'making noise' even mean in this 2026 media landscape? Even the biggest albums seem like they came and went.
Yeah, but something actually coming and going and something seeming like it came and went are two different things. It's movies that spend weeks at #1 on the box office but don't feel like it and you get surprised when you realize how much money its grossed. Same with albums/songs. They might not be having any impact around you but if they're dominant on the charts, they haven't come and gone.
Beyoncé, YoungBoy and Carti operate at a level of vocal expression closer to James Brown/MJ than the likes of Usher/JT/Breezy/Bruno/JB/Weeknd ever did

Should be it’s own thread
