I feel like I know exactly who @thegreatdivine is on Twitter but I won't say the Twitter name.

The posting style and talking points are so uncanny that it sticks out to me.

If they're actually the same person, she's a much more unhinged and diehard Drake fan there. And Ebro and DJ Hed got her blocked too.

You'd be wrong. Neither of those people have me blocked on Twitter because I'm not thejendoctrine on there. That user has me blocked because I challenged her take on Drake once upon a time lmao.

Don't Tap the Glass by Tyler, the Creator also departs the Billboard 200 this week after 15 weeks. The only Doja Cat/Tyler, the Creator albums charting now are Planet Her and CHROMAKOPIA.

Doja mainstream career really over just like that.

I think she'll be fine as long as she can keep selling out arenas. If that also goes out the window then yeah, it's over for her.

It's legit one of the most frontloaded albums I've seen in years. Even beating many K Pop albums.

It's like she spent more time focusing on breaking Adele's record than focusing on the album's replay value and staying power. I think even her last album which was also mid had more legs than this.

Taylor has become the Mr. Beast of pop music. And it's funny because she started off the decade releasing her best albums then immediately fell off after 2021.

It’s literally b/c no matter how much they try to convince people Kendrick is that guy, his music (outside of gkmc) has never matched the timelessness or reach of a Kanye or Drake. Their music literally carries them without the industry push

I have a feeling that Kanye will be 2nd most streamed for November with Travis 3rd. Kanye’s timeless discord is winning out over him being cancelled for his nazi rants

Shows people’s lack of character and embracing of racist more than anything. Same reason why Andrew Tate got a following that grew after allegations.

It’s literally a case of “what else are they gonna play?” If other artists made better music, consumers wouldn’t feel like they had to listen to Kanye. That’s how music consumption has always worked. Especially with the state of Hiphop currently

But don’t you hate Spotify because of all the bots?

Now it’s the ultimate decider of who gets played?

Kanye has a large discography, with a lot of streams, but he won’t sell relatively well to what he did when he drops because back catalog is not a good decider of current relevancy

Kinda weird that I sort of see where you're coming from.

Now has never been a better time to be a veteran rapper in the game. Hence why a lot of these stats show rappers who debuted more than 10 years ago dominating.

Quite literally "rap fatigue" is trending right now because people just flat out are done with a lot of the newer generation rappers.

It's not like the older days where different trends, stars, movements, and scenes were constantly prevailing in hip hop. In the late 90's alone, we went from Shiny Suit dominance in the mainstream in 97 to a much grittier movement in 98 and 99.

It's not like that anymore. That's also why I think Iceman will do well even if it's mid. People would rather hear the veterans still put s*** out than be invested in the newer mainstream acts.
