Iceman gunna do crazy numbers and boost it even more.
We are in for a generational classic, I can’t believe it
Drake should just do a sequel to one of his old albums so people actually want to listen to it more than once before forgetting about it

this method worked for kid cudi
theres a war going on so maybe cause of that...
I really hope this wasn’t a serious post
That back catalog is doing DEADLIFTS right now because all the new s*** been bricking terribly my goodness

Iceman gonna outsell GNX 😂😂😂
Serious question for you. Let’s saying Iceman is another 21-track album, and it sells 340K first week. Will you consider that as a win over 12-track GNX doing 319K?
Why do Drake stans think a pop star being able to sell a lot is some kind of loss for Kendrick
Kendrick already beat him that battle is over
Iceman gonna outsell GNX 😂😂😂
Probably? Who’s denying that
I’d sure hope a Drake album with a 6 month rollout and 3 singles and promo outsells a 12 track surprise Kendrick album
The battle is over
Drake is still the #1 artist in the world
Kendrick back to doing nothing, tour is flopping, streams are going down
Kr0niic and Auntie Grandma still posting about Drake

The gap is actually bigger overseas.

I actually have a serious question because I’m curious.
Why would a bigger track list album sell more than a shorter album? Wouldn’t a shorter album be easier to stream/sell?
Not sure if that’s the wording I want to go with but it got my question across.

Because more songs = more plays
The battle is over
Drake is still the #1 artist in the world
Kendrick back to doing nothing, tour is flopping, streams are going down
Kr0niic and Auntie Grandma still posting about Drake
The battle is over
Drake is still arguably the most popular rapper of all time
Kendrick still unanimously won the beef in historic fashion
All of Drake’s 2024 & 2025 music has flopped besides NOKIA, but Kendrick scored his biggest hit ever, and a successful album that featured a song that was #1 for 13 straight weeks
Big Dog, Blue Man, and Quadra are still posting about Drake’s back catalog
The battle is over
Drake still can’t get new music to stick
Kendrick is on a stadium tour
Drake stans still searching for a win in meaningless places
Because more songs = more plays
Sure but let’s say for the sake of the question.
If in a 24 hour period I can get through a 12 track album 25 times and in that same 24 hour period I can get through the 21 track album 20 times, wouldn’t that prove the shorter album is easier to keep playing over and over again?

If you’re a MAJOR artist, emphasis on major, then releasing an album with a long tracklist all but guarantees a higher first week streaming number than if you released a shorter album.
Scroll through the biggest streaming weeks ever, majority of the albums within the Top 50 are 20+ tracks

Most people are not listening to a new album multiple times through start to finish. They’re listening once in full, finding their favorite tracks, and throwing those on a playlist.
So a 20 song album off rip is already being streamed twice the amount of times as a 10 track album, and also there’s a higher number of potential tracks to enjoy and add to a playlist if the overall number of songs is higher.
One of the barbs best reads ever
It’s also easier to equal 1 album sold when the album is longer
I don’t remember the exact amount but say it takes 1200 streams to equal 1 album sold
That would take listening to a 12 track album 100 times
But would only take listening to a 22 track album 54.5 times
