They're having to heavily discount a lot of seats & do promotions only a few shows in

I really think people are starting to get tour fatigue now, there's too many of them competing with each other, people have limited cash. 2-3 years ago (just after covid) there was way less competition

Outside of Houston, this hasn't happened. 3/4 venues sold out without any discounts whatsoever. Houston hit 93%+ capacity and rest were sold out.

Even Houston with discounts grossed 9.4M+ (Most ever for a rap artist ever at that point), Dallas and ATL did more. This show is averaging 10M+ a show and 3/4 shows completely sold out.

You argue with users 24/7. It's very unsettling opening this thread hoping to see a charts update only to see you arguing with someone else.

He really ruin this thread day in and day out and has zero self awareness to see it

prices also went insane, even to see small acts in toronto its now like $60-$100 when it used to be $30-$50.
Makes it harder to drop $500 on a kendrick/drake/beyonce ticket when you've already spent $500 seeing 4-5 small artists that year.

I just replied for other to see the reality instead of just replying to someone specific. This tour has been nothing short of impressive and these false narratives and over exaggerations ain't it. Houston show didn't sell out and still managed to do 9.4M. People acting like s*** was empty when it was 93%+ attendance.

Tours have been struggling in general and that's true but not this GNX tour. This s*** is performing at a historic level and breaking boundaries for hip hop :

Beyonce used dynamic pricing in the most predatory manner so she absolutely deserved whatever underwhelming touring numbers she gets this time around.

She had seats that were normally $100-200 on her prior tours going for $500+

The mega fans were stressing out that the tickets would immediately sell out first day and bought those tickets under pressure.

The rest of the GP mainly said f*** those prices and then they eventually had to drop them back down a lot. She screwed over her biggest fans in the end (and some scalpers but they deserve that)

This is excluding Taylor swift numbers which aren't public per show but GNX going to sneak in this list with a few shows. Downplaying this is crazy

    Hurry Up Tomorrow is flopping.

    $$$4U is flopping.

MUSIC is not currently doing well.

    MAYHEM is not doing well.

No 2025 release is doing well. Why do you keep making this a Drake & Weeknd issue?

    here we go again

That clown is making posts like that to cope with Hurry Up Tomorrow being a flop. Debuted with almost 500k units but dropped out of the top 10 in 5 weeks, meanwhile $$$4U debuted with less than 250k units and has never left the top 5.

$$$4U has performed exponentially much better than Hurry Up Tomorrow. That's the fact.

HURRY UP TOMORROW IS A FLOP.

I said it before: the Weeknd will be fine. Hurry Up Tomorrow underperforming doesn't mean he's "over" or anything but the album is definitely a flop, considering all the conditions it was released under.

Again, he'll be fine. He should have zero issues selling out his stadium tour but his current commercial standing as far as albums and singles are concerned is on shaky ground because he has now released back to back albums that have flopped and neither of the albums produced a smash hit single. It is what it is.

Nah, you were being a usual consistent hater and trying to disguise as some “I’m objectively talking about the industry” nonsense.

Whenever a new Kendrick charting record is posted you jumping up and down, ready to d***ride and throw shots.

Suddenly $$$ being consistent on the charts and it’s “well this doesn’t mean anything there’s nothing happening in the music industry right now” lmao.

If you wanna suddenly go into this industry nonsense then have that same attitude ready when the other 2025 stats get posted

Someone said to use context when comparing it next to other colossal albums, and I agreed with them

Whatever else you got going on is your problem
