Wernt you saying diamond songs in streaming era mean less lol.
I mean that when you see 10-15 year old songs going Diamond simply because of the passage of time.
Any song getting Diamond or very close to Diamond within one year of its’ release is extremely impressive

Drake also flopped
Eminem stans gonna be mad when Drake passes him in album units.
He's definitely close. It'll happen within the next 2-3 years.
since they’re about to tour together shouldn’t they be around each other more?
not necessarily. it’s easy to have your own schedule and prep cause they can’t do every single thing together and only show up when it’s time to rehearse your parts of the show or practice with the bigger group
like if you ever been in a huge band, majority of the training is broken off into groups to perfect parts and then brought together closer to showtime and dress rehearsals
she also gotta get her touring team in order, her travel schedule, her own interviews and promo as while it’s a collab tour it’s still business for the individual
I don’t want to speak too much but from the way I hear artists speak, often times they just with their teams on a collab tour

Love seeing white rappers go against each other
How is it not true? He’s never had a lead artist song last for more than 36 weeks on the Hot 100.
God’s Plan and I Like It released in the same year, and were both sent to Pop radio as well as one other radio station in the US.
One lasted for 51 weeks on the chart, the other for 36.
What is the excuse?
neither has michael jackson
I’m asking you why don’t Drake’s hits have the same longevity as his peers’ hits do
How does a song like God’s Plan completely fall off the Hot 100 after just a little over a half a year?

He says, about an artist with 24+ Diamond elgibile songs.
Lol. Lmao even.
neither has michael jackson
You comparing a guy that was on top 40 years ago, 30 years prior to the streaming era
I’m comparing Drake with artists who have achieved a specific feat during the streaming era, which is the period of time that Drake’s commercial prime has been

You keep moving the goalposts to ignore the question
If The Weeknd dropped a #1 record that fell off the charts after 25 weeks, you would clown him

How many rap songs have lasted 50+ weeks on Hot 100 this decade
Fader not realising that billboard is heavily against rap is crazy

I’m asking you about 2018, a year where two (at minimum, haven’t checked fully) rap songs lasted 50+ weeks on the Hot 100.
Drake’s biggest single of his career did not.
Why is that?
