songs going diamond within 3-4 years had fast peaks? You do realize you don't go diamond if you don't get streams right?
Radio points keep songs stuck on the charts for ages, especially pop radio
You sure do have a lot of patience going back and forth with an idiot
How can a song become diamond within a few years without longevity, Fader? Especially when the ''peers' hits'' aren't even close to selling as much as those songs, Fader?
Which is a longer measurement of time:
51 weeks or 36 weeks?
You sure do have a lot of patience going back and forth with an idiot
The same can be said to anyone who’s ever wasted Internet speed replying to a post of yours
I've always thought this.
A song that peaks #17 and stays on the chart for over a year is better than a top 10 hit that falls off after a few months
Thank you.
@Zackbrah is just being dense, per usual
God's Plan spent 36 weeks on the Hot 100
It's 16x platinum
You got songs that spent 50 weeks on the Hot 100 and they didn't even go 5x platinum
You gotta start using your brain man
I know it hurts to see not like us number 2 at 41 weeks

You sure do have a lot of patience going back and forth with an idiot
You are right to be honest, it's a complete waste of time. I'm still not sure if he's just that dumb but trying to appear smart or just a loser who wants to annoy people

You’re purposefully playing dumb and avoiding questions like you always do every time someone challenges you
I asked you a simple question that you still have not answered
Only song a bigger billboard hit than not like us with drake on it at this point is no guidance
Cardi B’s I Like It was on the Hot 100 for 51 weeks.
God’s Plan was on the Hot 100 for 36 weeks.
Both songs released in the first half of 2018, and both were sent to Pop radio. Both songs are certified Diamond.
Why did one stay on the Hot 100 for 15 weeks longer @Zackbrah ?

No Guidance, classic chune

didnt realize it was that stable of a hit

This is because i like it peaked 3 months after release and not immediately like gods plan
so it stayed longer cause its peak was later.
Espresso is again a great example though lol because that song really wasn't a "megahit" in the US at all. I don't think it was even half as big as songs like The Box, Sicko Mode, God's Plan etc
Espresso is STILL on the Hot 100 after 45 weeks of charting.
God’s Plan charted for 36 weeks.
The Box for 38 weeks.
Sicko Mode for 52 weeks.
Espresso will absolutely either catch or pass Sicko Mode since it is still at #17 after 45 weeks and doesn’t show any signs of slowing down.
So now you're saying Espresso was bigger than Sicko Mode & God's Plan?
And yet Kill Bill was on the chart for 52 weeks, and Snooze for 70 weeks.
Examples like these are why I will always stand on the fact that chart longevity will always be more important then chart position
Ignoring the fact that hits in the last 3-4 years last longer on BIllboard than ever before... I wonder why
Songs with later peaks (like 3-4 months after release) stay longer on billboard charts due to rules like it is removed after 20 weeks if dips below 50.
like drakes longest charting billboard hit is no guidence with 46 weeks. Thats because it peaked 4 months after release lol
Billie Jean only lasted 25 weeks on Hot 100, THriller 24.
Wrap it up lads, those songs were tiny, no longevity.

& you'd have to be mentally insane to not think God's Plan was the much bigger song

Comparing a song that released 40+ years ago before streaming to one that released less than a decade ago, right in the middle of the streaming era
& you'd have to be mentally insane to not think God's Plan was the much bigger song
Yet you cannot give a legitimate answer as to why one last much longer on the chart than the other one did
So now you're saying Espresso was bigger than Sicko Mode & God's Plan?
I think nostalgia has cooked your brain

You also can't compare songs now v 6 years ago, I already proved this a month or 2 ago. Songs last way longer on average on billboard than ever before due to the rule changes

I just named multiple songs from 2018 that last 50+ weeks on the Hot 100.
There’s been at least one every single year since 2018, Drake has zero of them as a lead artist. Why is that?

So? are you saying 2018 had the same amount as we have now? because you'd be completely wrong lol
